I just wanted to drop you a comment and tell you how much I REALLY enjoy and look forward to your podcasts. I live in Texas, I am the mother of three (16,14,10), and I feel like you do in so many ways in so many areas that you talk about. I think your podcasts are real and honest and human. Thank you for that! I'm not alone in this wacky world.

I think it is pretty typical of Vicki Howell to do a podcast even if she doesn't listen to them. On a lot of her shows she asks questions that indicate she isn't that expert of a knitter. There is something to be said for the chutzpah that lets someone who doesn't really know what she's doing design patterns and yarns, have a TV show, and have a podcast. I'm sure she's learned a lot doing it. Then on the other hand, it's pretty naive, too. You're right that her 'cast will be professional and managed. But I like yours because you are down-to-earth and talk about things that are familiar to you.
