How sweet to name the bags after your daughters.

Fun episode. I was driving at the time and thinking of all the comments I should leave you and of course, now I can't remember any of them.

Hello, My name is Iris Rivera and I'm from Puerto Rico and I have been listening to you just for a while, but needed to write to you just to say a few things I'm a begginer knitter, (learned by my self no knitterns in PR) and very busy mom I don't have as many as you but I do have four one of them a pair of 20 year old boy and girl twins and I just want to congratulate you because me with only four kids, don't like to be with out them, but happy when there not in the house so I could take a break for me can not find time to knit. As you may know already buy experience you can be doing stuff for them 24/7 but sometimes is completely difficult to unplug and take the time, as I said I congratulate you for your wonderful job I just saw your etzy shop and those bags are beutiful and smart design very hip and usefull at the same time, just needed to say this because sometime I feel so overwellmed about been a Mom and wife and listening to your podcast make me feel that I can do it, be passionate about my knitting and do everything else. Keep it up and Good Luck. Happy Knitting idrivera@prtc.net

Hey Sharon!

Hello from Scottsdale, AZ. I am a podcast fan – I have caught up with all of your previous podcasts, and have been meaning to email you for a month or so- to say “ great job!”. I am NOT a knitter, looks too complicated, but a new crocheter- I will attach a pic of my first project!

I work from home, sold my magazine Embroidery Journal to Designs, a competitive mag last year. I still sell advertising and consult. I have two girls, 5 and 7, high maintenance, little ones! My oldest has red ,spiral curls and looks like she could be a sister to your little boy. My youngest, Zoe, is 5- and I often have to lay with her at night, or spend a lot of time assisting her during the day. I listen to your podcast while I do laundry , cook, supervise the kids, drive etc. I am a big ipod fan like you. I bought a pair of clip on ear headphones, a sport style and cut one ear off, so I can listen comfortably with one ear and here the household noise! I do a lot of books by ipod. I love audible com for this! Check it out. Join the monthly club, 2 books a month for 22 dollars, and search by books you have loved. The site makes recommendations based on titles you enjoy. I loved Friday Night Knitting Club- I hated The Knitting Circle. I like Debbie Macombers Shop on Blossom Street and A Good Yarn, for light escape. I also read the classics and listen to poetry via my ipod. I listed to the written word like others watch tv!!!

I have an outdated blog I hope to update soon! I have been working on some writing projects that have kept me from it. ( www.specialneedsmom.com)

So I love yarn- and the subject and like the casual, everyday, positive, yarn loving, momliving livestyle that you share with your listeners. Keep up the good work. I think you should rename your podcast- Purl for Pleasure, Pockets of Time ( ha!!) Your recent show inspired me to ditch the harvest theme colored 5 foot by 6 ft. afghan that has been borin’ the livin death out of me lately and stealing my happy hooking time. Am going to do a cute beret hat for my fashion girl and an ipod holder for me instead.

Oh and one more thing, I want the cookie stick recipe. It sounds great and I would love to have them for the kids when they get home today…

By the way, regarding the customer you misshipped the extra kit to- ask her to ship it back and give her a $5 credit toward another purchase or send her a thank you card with a yarn gift, or one of your rings, something of comparative value, but get the kit back! There was another business question you broached, and I cant recall what it was, but I had an opinion on that too!! Or you can send her a postage paid ready return box/envelope ----

It was nice sharing! Talk to you soon

you can email me at suzperryman@cox.net, i tried to email you, but unsure if I remembered it correctly!

Hi Sharon:

Just wanted to thank you for another good show. I finally had a chance to listen to it on the ride to work this morning. I have been admiring the pattern for Wicked for some time now. I really ought to just get it and cast on, but there's way too much in the queue ahead of it. And now you're really tempting me with that Sirdar jacket. Sounds like a quick, fun, USEFUL knit.
