Hi Sharon,
Just found you and downloaded all of your podcasts. I've listened to only three but I'm hooked. As a busy mom that loves to knit and paint I find I can relate to much of what you say. Anyway, had to let you know that I'm listening and enjoying your podcasts.

Sharon,
I've been meaning to drop you a note for some time. I feel like we're twin sisters from different mothers.
I,too, knit alone. It is a process which feeds my soul on so many different levels. For some reason, knitting groups just don't seem enticing to me. My knitting community is strictly virtual; I have my favorite blogs, online stores, and podcasts and best of all, they are all available 24 hours a day. Knitting is a guilty little pleasure that I thoroughly enjoy! (My husband just doesn't understand.)
A few episodes ago you mentioned not being particularly interested in befriending the other school moms. I totally relate. I am amazed that I suddenly loose all social graces and completely withdraw when faced with a school mom. It's not that I'm intimidated, it's that I'm just not interested. I was glad to hear you say that you feel the same way.
The podcast is fantastic! Keep challenging yourself and push your comfort zone by learning new things. Good luck with teaching the classes.
P.S.--a phone book makes a quick random number generator. Just open it, pick a column and use the last digits of the phone numbers to create your 'picks'.
