Continuing on from the discussion of integrity that we began last week we will be discussing the third tenet of the teaching of Evolutionary Enlightenment “Face Everything and Avoid Nothing.” This tenet can be thought about in different ways. One way is that we must continually examine the consequences of our actions to discover our true motivations. But perhaps a more immediate sense of the tenet is the demand to face everything and avoid nothing now. Do you have the courage to face your own deepest realization about what is true and meaningful in human life and compare it to the life you are living? The courage to be this open and fearless is rare, but if we are to actualize our highest potential we must find the heroic spirit to be ruthlessly honest with ourselves.
