Here is my transcription:
"Today a good friend of mine, a Chinese friend, actually not just one friend but two friends: a husband and a wife who I’ve known for almost 6 years. This week they moved back to China.
I met… First I met the wife when she was a student of mine when I was volunteering as an English teacher. And then she introduced me to her husband and I became good friends with both of them over the years. So I feel a little bit sad that they’ve moved away from here, but I understand. Of course, the husband was here to go to school, and he finished his studies and now they’re going back to make a life for themselves in Beijing.
Anyway, I don’t know what the American immigration situation will be, but, as far as I’m concerned, they are always welcome to come back here, at least to MY United States.
OK. I went a few seconds over an hour, but that’s OK. That’s all for today. Bye-bye."
