Fright Time Is The Right Time (re-post)

You've possibly heard of Christmas in July...but Halloween in July??? MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

That's right, groovy ghoulies and lysergic lycanthropes, it's a celebration of the witching hour in the midst of summer. I had posted this one at the beginning of November last year and it was also wiped in the upgrade. Fortunately, a copy was found and here it is again - for your listening pleasure..or should that be unease?

Get out your goblin and sorceress costumes and freak out to these scary sounds. Do the Danse Macabre or read some H.P. Lovecraft while it plays.

The track listing for this episode is:

The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown - Prelude/Nightmare (from the 'Crazy World Of Arthur Brown' album - released in 1968)
The White Noise - Black Mass: An Electric Storm In Hell (from the 'Electric Storm' album - rel. in 1969)
Gentle Giant - Alucard (from the self-titled album - released in 1970)
The Idle Race - The Skeleton And The Roundabout (single release - 1968/also on 'The Birthday Party' album - rel. in 1968)
Sunn-O))) - The Gates Of Ballard (excerpt) (from the 'White One'album - released in 2002)
Black Sabbath - N.I.B. (from the self-titled album - released in 1969)
H.P. Lovecraft - At The Mountains Of Madness (from the 'H.P. Lovecraft II' album - rel. in 1969)

A Trip To The Vinyl Vault:

featured LP - The Enid - 'In The Region Of The Summer Stars' (1984 re-recording)

The Demon King

The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band - Look Out, There's A Monster Coming (from the 'Gorilla' album - released in 1967)
Butthole Surfers - Graveyard (from the 'Rembrandt Pussyhorse' album - rel. in 1986)
Jethro Tull - The Witch's Promise (single release 1970)
Aleister Crowley - The Pentagram (recorded onto wax cylinder - possibly 1920s - released on CD in 1999)
