Hi Ayako, It was neat to hear you on a podcast!! How cool is that?!! As you requested comments, here are some. First, you did a good job overall in the presentation of the podcast. Your voice was clear, you spoke at a good pace and paused at appropriate places to show important points. Content was good, you threw in questions for the listener to be part of the speech and you gave personal examples which makes the speech easy to relate to! Some places to improve- pronunciation; several thruout the speech. (ex. height, obesity, women). And there were some grammar errors including some awkward expressions (to do healthy diet, psychology problems, trouble with human, since I was marriage).

I am being very specific in my critique but again, I thought overall it was well done and I can tell you put in a lot effort!! It shows! Good job!

Hello Aya,

You've come a long ways baby! What a terrific presentation. I remember meeting you the first time and we could hardly communicate with you. If only I could speak Japanese as well as you speak English today.

Yes, God has given you a special gift. You are a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart and voice.

Keep up the good work!

Aloha

Rita

Dear Rita

Thank you very much for your kindness comment. Learning something told me how and what I do not know. My goal is so far, but I enjoy to study as an American college student. Please fix my wrong English during my conversation next time. See you very soon.

Hi Ayako-san,

First of all, I was quite surprised to find out how much improvement you had made! When I started listening your speech, I did not recognize it was you. You delivered a speech so crisply and lively that I first thought it was not your speech but some kind of advertisement. In addition to the way of speaking, the content and structure was great. I highly appreciate it. You must have prepared thoroughly.

Second, I agree with you that weight loss should be achieved not by skipping meal but by other healthier means. For me, walking is the most effective method to keep my ideal weight. I have gained weight since I returned to Tokyo because I take subway and bus almost everytime I go out, which I barely did when I was in New York and Paris.

Anyway, thank you for telling me that you have posted your speech!
