Do you realize that Yeshua's empty tomb is the most important difference between His followers and the followers of every other religeous figure? Yeshua's tomb is still empty. Muhammad's body lies in Madina, Saudi Arabis. Buddha's body was cremated and the ashes buried throughout India. Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism, is buried in Nauvoo, Illinois. Messiah Yeshua however, does not lie in a grave. His body was never cremated, nor were His "remains" ever enshrined on a family plot. The reason is simple: His is still alive. His tomb will never be occupied by His body. His body is alive and well, sitting at the right hand of the Father.
As we finsih up this week's Passover Festival, may we never forget that He is very much alive today! Our Savior still intercedes for His sheep, and He still seeks out the ones who are lost.
