I'm so glad you're back! Just downloaded the podcast - can't wait to listen. I've had you in re-runs for ages. Hope the visits with the knitting group return as well. My favorite episode is the one where everyone discusses their stash.

So lovely to hear your voice again - really pleased that you are back and that your new family is thriving. Thanks also for the sensitive and moving comments on pregnancy & babies. I tried for 3 years before eventually conceiving naturally and I think during that time we ran the gamut of every 'well-meaning' comment there has ever been :)Good luck with everything and look forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you so much for your notes, I really appreciated them! Am hoping to put up another episode soon. Would have helped if, in a fit of nappy-brain, I'd not accidentally deleted the recording!

Oh dear!!
*is really secretly hoping it was the recording from Thursday night and that she can get away with not discussing the topic again!*
It is quite nice to listen to your podcasts again though.
Hehehe, hope you're well and the babies are behaving themselves.
Love Katie xxx

Nora,
I just listened to this episode and would like to say Thank You for sharing the issues of sensitivity regarding having children or at least not being able to have them. I too am an older mother of twins and my husband and I tried for 11 years, bearing well-intentioned but painful comments by others.
Anyway, when the twins were 14 months old and we were still thrilled with having children at all, one of my boys developed autism within a week after his MMR/Hib vaccination. We were devastated. My boys are 6 now and the journey has been hard.
Please please please be careful and educate yourself about the vaccine schedule!!! Spread them apart and NEVER give them within a month of any illness. Your babies are too precious to risk any harm. Warm wishes to your family,

I am so happy you are back Nora.....your soothing voice and sensible, intelligent content is a joy to listen to. I too had many miscarriages and numerous problems conceiving, but now have two beautiful twenty-something adult children (boy and girl) and feel very blessed. I thought what you had to say was very much worth listening to.
Hope you stay podcasting for us for a long time. Take care, Jenny

PS: Thank you for your wise words about what not to say to us not-childless-by-choice. You articulated so well the pain that I and others feel.
