Are you both involved in the military in some way? Have you seen the 'Yarn Think Tank' group on Ravelry? It's a gathering of people making 10" squares, green, tan or camo, which will eventually make a 'Tank Cozy'. Yeah, seriously. Check it out. It's a riot AND for a great cause.
