God promised David he'd be the King. But instead of becoming the king, David finds himself running for his life while the old king tries to kill him. Now he finds himself all alone in a cave, far from being a king. So what does David do? He teaches us what we need to do when we find ourselves in a cave (a tough time in life).

I was at home, sick, one Sunay and decided to treat myself to one of your sermons online. At the time, I was very concerned about a coworker, a new christian, who was at battle with how her world is viewing her newfound life in Christ. She has been very despondent and depressed and I have encouraged her to read the Psalms. I was so encouraged to find this sermon about being in a cave. I have burned it,(thank you) and will give it to her. I pray that your words and the lesson from God's Word will give her the encouragement she's needs. Thank you again for your work in His kingdom,
