What better way to start the new year off than with a festival commemorating the burning of the blind dead. The whole town is singing and dancing, drinking and quareling in the plaza. There's even a fireworks demonstration and a mock staging of the burning of the heretic knights.
A cautious man should keep all facts in mind though. A declaration of immortality and a vow of vengeance on the part of the Templar is unsettling news indeed. --And this very night they will rise from the earth to kill and destroy the living.
Our film for tonight is "EL ATAQUE DE LOS MUERTOS SIN OJOS". The eglish translation is "RETURN OF THE EVIL DEAD" (1973). Amando de Ossorio directs all of the'blind dead' films, four in total. Jose and myself both agree that this one is the best of the series. Your invited to check them out, they are really a blast. The intro song is performed by the doom metal band "CATHEDRAL", the song being "NIGHT OF THE SEAGULLS" - this is also the title for the fourth and final 'blind dead' film. Well, I think I've said enough for now, so enjoy the show !
