It was late afternoon on Sunday and foot traffic in Pismo was slowing down. The warm sunshine was still on the little plaza area by the restaurants. There were maybe thirty people sitting on the benches eating their clam chowder, ice cream, etc.
Sometimes when you just sit and watch people, it can hit you. When you observe how family members interact with each other, it will hit you. When you listen to the conversation of an elderly couple it will hit you. COMPASSION! These people need to be saved. They are rebels in God's eyes. They are heading for Hell and they don't even care.
When I contemplate what the Father did in sending His Son for the redemption of man and the life, death, and resurrection of the God-man Jesus Christ, I am moved with compassion. I'm not an eloquent speaker but the power isn’t in the sower but in the seed.
After praying for a bit, still trembling, I stood up and did the best I knew how and shared the truth with these people. Christian, I know you can do this...

Hooray! I've been trying to get into the "witnessing mode" by having a weekly bible study with some JWs for the past six months. Sometimes when I wonder where to get started I forget that I don't live in isolation and I just need to get started where I am. Knowing that there are others out there that are doing what Christ has called us to do motivates me to try harder and reach further and further outside my comfort zone. Thanks for the encouragement! - JM

God bless you brother Allen, I listened to how your winsome way of the Master is so effective and powerful to sow the true seed of the Gospel. You are a Caleb indeed who has his eyes set on the hills.
your fellow Ambassador of Christ,
Ted
