There are two ways to create an episode:

• with the help of our application MyPodcast Recorder (the whole episode comprising an audio file with name, description, picture and advertising spots);
• record an audio-clip in a different application and upload the whole episode via special web-form.

Note: we support audio of the following format: MPEG 1 Layer 3, constant bit rate up to 192 kbps, mono/stereo/joint stereo, sample rate 44100 Hz.

MyPodcast recorder

MyPodcast recorder works on Windows OS. Should you use another OS read the text below.

We recommend you to use our program to create new episodes. This is the simplest way. Everything you need is a microphone.

With the help of this program you can record an episode, set advertising spots in it and publish the episode in your podcast More..

You cannot create new episodes by means of MyPodcast Recorder application therefore you should use external applications for recording new episodes and upload them via our web-form. We recommend you to use Garage Band, the Mac OS application designed for recording of podcasts.

Web-form

The manual episode upload form is used for creation of new episodes.

On the right-side menu of the home page click on the link Episodes/Create new and you will see the form of episode creation. You should specify the title of the new episode, its description and choose the audio file for upload. It might be as well to specify advertising spots if you do not want the ad to be recorded at the beginning of your episode.

Besides that, using this form you can upload a picture for your episode. It will be shown on your podcast web page.

You may publish the newly created episode at once or save it as a draft to return to the episode later.
